2016 Pan Pacs just 150 days away

We are very excited to announce that there are only 150 days to go until the 2016 Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival!

Preparations for the 11-day festival are in full swing, and we celebrate this significant date by releasing this teaser video - there are just five months left until the first whistle is blown.

The Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival is run biennially, and is the largest water polo event in the Southern Hemisphere: 2016 promises to be bigger and better than ever.

“We have just confirmed that Canberra will be coming with 11 teams, and a similar number from New South Wales” said newly appointed Competitions and Communications Manager Fabian Wanrooij.

“We’re also looking into having teams from Perth over, one of them being the Claremont Dolphins.”

Around 1500 athletes will take to the water at multiple Auckland venues, including the brand new National Aquatic Centre at AUT Millennium and the Margaret Beale Aquatic Centre at St. Cuthbert's College.

There has been significant interest from Australia, as well as some from Asia, and a number of American sides have confirmed their entries.

Registrations close in a month’s time on 11th March 2016, four months out from the tournament’s start date of July 9th.

We look forward to seeing you in Auckland this July!
