Welcoming Ceremony: Haere mai, welcome to Tamaki Makaurau!

The 14th Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival Welcoming Ceremony took place on Sunday evening at the West Wave Aquatic Centre in Henderson. Check out our short video below!


The Festival was officially opened today, but competition has already been underway for two days!

The wait is over: Pan Pacs 2016 is here!

The countdown has hit zero and competition has started across most venues at the largest water polo event in the Southern Hemisphere - the 14th Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival.


We will be updating scores online across the venues on the links on our Pan Pacs website. Everything you need to know including rules, ticket and t-shirt prices, weather, and live Auckland traffic is on the website.

A huge 73 games will be played on day one! Good luck to all teams.

That's a wrap for ‪#‎PanPacs2016‬ day one!
After a huge first day, 73 games were played across six venues. 24 teams have emerged undefeated...but there's a whole lot more action coming on day two!

Games kick off from most venues 8:15am, followed by a full day of competition, and topped off with the Welcoming Ceremony at West Wave Pools & Leisure, Henderson at 7:15pm - join us!

1 day to go! It all starts tomorrow!

The 2016 Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival is now just one day away! It all starts tomorrow with Under 20s and Under 16s - 73 games will be played tomorrow across six venues!

2 days to go: #ThrowbackThursday - 2014 under 20 men's final

Just two more sleeps until the 14th Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival kicks off in Auckland! We are extremely excited to deliver you the largest water polo event in the South Hemisphere, and what promises to be one of your favourite tournaments ever.

This Thursday we're throwing in back to the Pan Pacs 2014 under 20 men's final between Australia '97 men and North Harbour.



After an earlier defeat in pool play, North Harbour bounced back to win 10-8 in the final! North Harbour goalkeeper Thomas Kingsmill was named MVP.

3 days to go: 2014 Welcoming Ceremony

With three days to go until Pan Pacs 2016, it's two years to the day since the Pan Pacs 2014 Welcoming Ceremony!

This year's welcoming ceremony will take place at 7:15pm Sunday at the West Wave Aquatic Centre in Henderson, and will see teams, nations, and cultures combine, all in the spirit of the 14th Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival.
