PLEASE NOTE: The draw for the 2014 Panasonic Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival is based on a protective draw format, meaning that teams have been placed in a draw line of two (2) or four (4) teams. Each of these teams is allocated to a pool by blind draw. The teams in each draw line are protected from playing against each other in pool play, however luck of the draw decides the cross-over match ups; pool A with pool B and pool C with pool D.

For the Under 16 Division, draw lines have been established based on the 2012 National New Zealand Under 14 Championships, as well as on the 2012 Panasonic Pan Pacific Youth Festival final rankings (this for the overseas teams). 

For the Under 20 Division the 2013 National New Zealand Under 19 Championships were considered (women only). The Under 20 Men’s Division is a full round robin format and as such there is only one (1) pool.
