Bronze for Canberra U14 Girls

The Canberra Academy A Girls have taken the bronze 2 goals to 9 over the South Island's Otago club.

Canberra were quick out of the blocks, with C. Gates and S. Swarbrick scoring in the first quarter for a two goal lead.

Swarbrick scored another in the second, alongside P. Nash to take the scores to 4-0. Otago's S. Cooper scored a penalty in the dying seconds of the half to make the score 1-4.

Swarbrick scored two more in the third to bring the scores to 2-6 heading into the final quarter.

Canberra dusted off Otago in the final quarter, scoring three goals including Swarbrick's fifth of the match - final score 2-9 to Canberra Academy.
