North Harbour and Hutt go head to head....

After trailing for the duration of the match North Harbour took the lead for the first time in the final 2 minutes of the last quarter allowing them to maintain their undefeated stance in the U20 Men's competition so far.

Nothing less then a finals match intensity between both teams allowed for an incredibly exciting match felt by all. Goal for goal throughout the entire match truly showed the intense level that these guys were playing not allowing any opportunity to go unpunished. With a 1 all first quarter and a 2 all half time score both teams were excelling in their defensive game. Things got a little more shaken up in the 3rd quarter but both teams continued their goal for goal trend entering into the last quarter at 5 all.

Hutt capatalised early in the 4th and kept North Harbour fighting for an opportunity. Harbour once again responded with a goal drawing the game for the 6th time this match but Hutts share determination saw them once again taking the lead with 5 minutes left on the clock. North Harbour was quick to respond once again equalising the sore at 7 all now with 5 minutes left on the clock.

Both teams showed share determination but Hutt saw themselves a man down with 2.15 left on the clock which proved deadly as Harbour was not going to let that opportunity go. North Harbour took the lead for the first time in the match and as it turned out that was enough. Final Score North Harbour 8 Hutt 7.
