Marist Red show big time play in 3rd quarter of 7th/8th Final

NSW CHS put up a good fight in the first half of their final Pan Pacific game. The second half was a different story, however, as it seemed the Australian side burned out against Marist. At the half, the scoreboard read 2-2, in a showcase of good, structured 6 on 5 defence and centre back recoveries down both ends of the pool.
However, Marist was able to seize every offensive opportunity that came their way in the third quarter, getting ahead by 7 goals to finish the quarter 9-2.
The NSW goalie didn’t leave without a fight, however, saving multiple one-on-one counter attack shots, several shots fired from the perimeter, and also a Penalty Shot; despite fatiguing efforts from his teammates, the NSW CHS Goalie never wilted.

Leadership and perseverance from the Marist Coach Tim Hunt meant his team were able to pull past the NSW Boys to deserve the 7th placed win.
