Harbour's stong-shot #13 Brandon Matthews was able to put away the first goal of the match with a cross-cage finish to the far corner. This play set up the tempo, as the North Harbour Boys continued to dominate for the rest of the game. They finished the first quarter strong with 7 unmatched goals, and by the half they were up 12-0. In a more stagnant third quarter, Harbour only managed to put away 3 more goals against Tauranga's improved defensive press.

Tauranga B are going to miss out in the final four places of the tournament, but what a great tournament it's been for them. They have been, by far, the most impressive B side in the U14 Boys competition, showing fortitude at it's finest throughout every matchup, no matter how tough the opposition were. This was again illustrated by Tauranga's #9 Olly Ford who continued to endure, and was rewarded with a goal to his name against the top ranked Harbour Boys. Ford was able to successfully execute a master lob shot straight into the back of the net against North Harbour Goalie Rowan Brown, scoring the last goal of the game to finish 19-1.

Ooh jiminy, I was reading this article to my dear wife Agnes, and she said to me "who wrote this article J-dawg?". And I replied "why, Nicole Taylor of course". So who is this Nicole Taylor, is she the chosen one that is going to lead the majestic sport of water polo into the adoring arms of the masses? I can only but hope.
