North Harbour brush off Waikato in last half

North Harbour Under 18 Women have proved their fitness against Waikato in a dominant second half. The score sat at a draw at half-time, 6-6. Waikato's goalie held North Harbour saving a penalty and numerous other shots.

The second half was a completely different story, North Harbour scoring twelve goals to Waikato's two.

North Harbour are potentially a win away from qualifying for the quarter finals, with Marist Blue to play tomorrow.

Waikato's Emma Ballard, Grace Eglinton, and Brogan Houghton scored two each.

North Harbour's Emily Nicholson scored four, Cecilia La Cava three, and Grace Tobin three. Katie McKenty scored 2 goals.

"We had an uneasy start - not executing some early opportunities. But the girls really stepped it up in the second half securing a 10 goal win." said McKenty.
