Marist Red boys finish top of pool, ready for quarterfinals

The U16 boys saw their final rounds of pool play at Dio today, with Marist Red finishing top of their pool beating WRAC Raptor's in a nail-biitng 6-5 win. Marist up 5-2 at halftime, were pushed to the brink by the Raptors, who went on to score 3 quick fire goals in the second half to Marist's 1. Cameron and Blundell of Marist, and Soloman-Murch of WRAC all finished the game with 2 goals each to their name. WRAC narrowly missed out on the top 8 places, finishing 3rd in their pool. They will play the Mountfort Wolf Pack tomorrow morning in their semifnal for 9th-12th place.  Marist Red will now go on to play Queensland in their quarterfinals at 5pm tonight at Sacred Heart Aquatic Centre.
