Structured play earns effortless win

The North Harbour A girls showed a structured and concise style of play today, claiming a 12-3 victory over the Rotorua girls. Steals, counter attacks and assists ruled Harbour’s style of game from key starters Jess Marsden, Stacey Landry and Emily Sanderson, with additional support from Nadia Pavlovich and Krista Barnaby slotting in goals from their respective wing positions. Liana Dance and Emily Nicholson once again proved their dominance in centre forward, each scoring 2 goals. Lavenia Lovodua played another great game in goal, reliably blocking 4 saves during Rotorua’s 6 on 5 attacks.

Rotorua’s #2 Aimee Cogger made sure they didn’t finish without a fight, however. Cogger nailed two perfectly lobbed shots into North Harbours top left hand goal from 7 metres out.
