North Harbour continue their dominating streak beating Canberra Academy 11 - 4 but may will need to bring their A game out tomorrow with Australia closing in on the points tables.
Hutt walked away in frustration after their close encounter with Australia later this evening. The intensity of the game was obvious if you took one look at the kick out board. Both teams were determined to walk away with a win to move forward in tomorrows finals. U20 Men appears to have an equal spread of close contenders all hoping for that finals spot tomorrow. You can tell that all these athletes are leaving absolutely nothing on the line.
Australia dominated in tonights game setting the president from the beginning with a 2 - 0 first quarter. Hutt managed to creep back into contention with a 3 - 2, this pattern continued with Australia maintained their lead heading into the final quarter with a 4 - 3 scoreline. 1 minute into the final quarter Hutt equalised for the first time in the match but this soon followed by an impressive attack by Australia resulting in a penalty shot in their favor. Capatalising on this opportunity Australia once again took the lead. Hutt utilized a couple of time out opportunities but Australia's defense prevented them from scoring and instead created an opportunity down the other end which allowed them to shift the score to 6-4 to end the match.
