Harbour secure 5th Place
Harbour came out firing after their close miss in the quarter finals yesterday. Setting the president for the game with an early 4 - 0 lead after the first quarter. Continuing this trend they took a convincing lead 6 -1 heading into the second half. Marists Ricci Ferigo and Jordan Milicich Misikini fired up in the second half each scoring 3 goals each making it the 4th goal in the quarter for Ferigo. Unfortunately despite their efforts it was too little too late and Harbour secured the win 9 - 7.
Close battle for 7th and 8th results in a draw
Despite Australia taking an early lead with E. Jones securing 3 goals in the first quarter assisting Australia to a 4-1 finish after the first quarter. An close contention in the second quarter saw each team scoring 1 goal each taking the score to 5 - 2 going into the second half. The assumption was that Australia had it in the bag but Waikato came out unstoppable in the 3rd quarter. Scoring 5 goals to take the lead 7 -5 heading in to the last quarter. Australia pulled themselves together and managed to even the score. Resulting in a 8 all draw for 7th place.
