Action galore in Waitakere vs. Conqueror

24 goals, 22 exclusions, 4 time outs, and 2 penalties were all jammed into four quarters of action at West Wave this morning.

Waitakere appeared to be the better of the two heading into the second half with a three goal buffer, 3-6.

A flourish of goals and some hard work from Conqueror saw them come back in the third to bring them a goal closer with the scores standing at 8-10. Catherine Tuning netting 2 in that quarter. The final quarter promised to be interesting.

Four time outs ensured plenty of whistle from the referees. Conqueror's goalie advanced over half way allowing Simone Couvee to shoot a beautiful penalty to diminish Conqueror's chances. Final score 11-13 in Waitakere's favour.
