The last time they played together they won a gold medal in the New Zealand Under 19 Championships in 2013. The time before that they won the New Zealand Secondary School Boys trophy in 2011.
North Harbour duo Owen (20) and Patrick Chambers (17) have continued their rule of the pool as they led their team to two victories on the opening day of the Under 20 Mens competition here at West Wave Aquatic Centre in Henderson.
The pair contributed 5 goals in their waltz over Sea Wolf this morning 23-5.
Their second game of the day saw them in a more competitive appearance against Tau-Wai Taniwha. Patrick and Owen scored one each in their 4-15 win over the Taniwha.
"It's pretty awesome to be able to play with my brother - it's cool to see the hard work he puts in and then play alongside him. It's pretty special so I'm just happy to play alongside him, it makes it all the better when you're able to win next to your brother." said Owen.
