Mixed bag for Under 16 Boys at Millennium this morning

Waitak conquer Palmy Boys

Waitakere Gold have dominated Palmerston North Boys High School in the first Under 16 Boys game at North Shore's AUT Millennium pool this morning.

Waitak kept PNBHS scoreless for the entire game, ending with a 0-19 scoreline.

Top goal scorers for the game were Nick Stankovich with an impressive 3 goals showing his skills with his left-hand. Troy Armstrong contributed 4 goals, and Jack Dymond netted 3.


Final quarter burst sees NSW CHS steer clear of Sea Wolf

New South Wales Combined High Schools team have ran away from Auckland's Sea Wolf Under 16 Boys team this morning at Millennium after the scores were drawn at 6-6 heading into the final quarter.

Some stern words from coach Mark Holden at the break set his team up for victory heading into the last quarter.
"We just had to work as a team and act like a team, it's the first time we've played together." said Nathan Clarke.

NSW CHS player Clarke scored 3 goals in the final quarter to lead his team out to a 12-6 win, saying he felt "pretty good" by the sound of the final whistle.
