Hutt out rule Tau-Wai in class act

Hutt have had a clinical game this evening to round off the second day of competition. They beat the Tauranga/Waitakere combination 'Tau-Wai' Taniwha 4-10 in what really was a text-book game on their behalf.

With fantastic counter-attacks, outside shooting, 6 on 5s, and centre forward work Hutt really showed off their ouevre in a class act.

Cameron Hayes and Rory McJarrow each scored a hat-trick and really inspired their team to keep pushing. Cameron has moved from his home club Tauranga to Hutt, since he moved to Wellington for university.

"It's hard playing my ex-team. The game was alright - physical. It was a must-win for us, I suppose we needed to win that game to make top four so yeah it was good."

Cameron will head off to the 2014 FINA Youth World Championships in Turkey later this month.

"I've sacrificed a lot of time - pretty much my life in the last couple of months has just been study and training. Worlds in two weeks - I'm pretty pumped." said Hayes.

Hutt now walk away from day two with their wins up their sleeves, and are taking on Canberra Academy tomorrow.
